Hi All! It's Bren here..CT Leader for Misty. I have decided to spotlight a very special CT member each week to show our appreciation for all the hard work that they do every day to promote Misty's designs. Each week, I will chose one CT Layout that I think stands out and I will recognize the CT Member that designed the layout. And I am pleased to announce that this week's CT Spotlight of the Week goes to Drica for her layout....Making VCards. I love the way she blended the photo for the background and also for the cute way she framed the photo....

She used Misty's kit...My Life {Project 365} February which will be released on February 2 at Funky Playground Designs.

LOTM for January

It is the end of the month so you know what that means. It is time for LOTM. It is always such a tough choice and I thought long and hard. This month I chose a beautiful LO by crazsquaw. She is actually on Misty's CT and always does fantastic work. I asked her a few questions so we could all get to know her a little better.

1) How long have you been digi-scrapping?
For almost 8 years.

2) Have you ever paper scrapped before?
Yes, I have been scrap booking for over 20 years. I also used to work at a craft store and I was the Dept. Head of the rubber stamp and scrapbook dept.

3) What is your favorite element to scrap with?
Greenery. You can add so much to a page with a little bit of leaves, limbs and/or flowers.

4) What are your favorite challenges to do in the forums?
Ones that make me think outside the box-but I love all of the challenges because they inspire me and give me great ideas!

Are you ready for the big reveal? Here is her awesome LO. I just loved the vintage feel and the selective coloring and the quote the whole just came together so nicely. She used Misty's Lola kit.

I'm here today to show off the LOTD-I chose this page by akhn for several reasons. I love that it is a 2-pager, I love the simplicity of it and the journaling. I also love the date stamps she put on the corners of the frames!

Serious Case of the Mondays?

The title says it all. What do you do when you are feeling allergic and just flat out icky? I personally like to look at things that are pretty, SPARKLY, and preferably something Disney. I looooooooove Misty's "Just Married" kit. It reminds me of Cinderella and Prince Charming, of my wedding day, and of happier non-monday- days. :-)

And with a price of only $2.99, what reason could you possibly have for not scurrying over RIGHT NOW and buying it? If only to just look at it. :-)

I used this kit to do a scrapbook page for my mom for what would have been her 30th anniversary. The boy and girl in it even look like my parents- and Cinderella is her favorite character ever. So here's my layout:

Everyday Happenings

Hi! I hope everyone had a great holiday! Mine was busy but I'm glad to get back into a routine. I didn't have much time to scrap during the holidays so I'm back on track now!!

I wanted to show off one of Misty's older kits today. Everyday Happenings! This is one of my favorite kits! If I'm ever stuck, I pull out this kit!! Here's the preview.

New Releases - January 7th!

Happy New Year!

I am participating in Project 365 again this year. Last year, I didn't even last a month so I am hoping to really stay committed in 2011. If you're interested in tracking my blog progress, you can head over to 365 O'Brien Moments for all the news.

In the meantime, I have been designing up a storm! I have 3 products releasing today, and two of them are CU OK. (All images are clickable)

The first is a set of Love Doodles. All of them were hand drawn by myself in Illustrator and they are saved as .png files. There are a total of 16 doodles and a bonus heart brush (.abr file) included.

I'm also starting a line of P365 items called My Life: {Project 365). The first item available is a set of Glitter Sunburst Papers. My creative team did a fantastic job of showing you how easy it is to incorporate them into almost any layout. They're versatile!

Where do you live?
I live in Ingolstadt, Germany.

When did you start scrapping?
I scrap since March ´08. A friend of mine started scrapping and after a while I tried it and was addicted.

What inspires you?
It´s nothing special which inspire me. Sometimes I see an element or paper of a kit and have an idea. Or I have a photo and know which kit is perfect for it. And I see many lo´s where I like the style and try to do it.
