Facebook Fan Spotlight!!!

It is time for us to get to know another of Misty's Facebook Fans a little better. Today I want to introduce you to Courtney!!

I am Courtney, mommy to Aubrey 3 and Lily 20m, and married to my best friend Chris going on 5 yrs. I am from New Orleans, but moved to Dallas when I was young. I just started back to work recently and I'm really not loving being away from my girls. I have a little photography business called Francois Photographs, that I love, but I only work when things come my way. I love photography, digi scrapping, reading, italian food and seafood, music and being with my little family. Other than that there isn't much to tell :)

How long have you been digi scrapping? About 3 years

How did you discover Misty's designs? Through the scrapping survivor contest at Ginger Scraps last year

What is your favorite kit of Misty's? I've been drooling over Salt Water and Everyday Happenings lately.

How would you describe your scrapping style? Eclectic, I tend to change styles often and with my moods right now I'm into the paper scrapping look.

What's the one scrapbooking item you can't live without? Flowers :)

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Somewhere with a true fall season and that had some snow in the winter. I'd love a little history and character too.

What's your favorite movie? The Birdcage

What's your favorite book? HARRY POTTER!! I like the 4th and 7th the best

Facebook Fan Spotlight!!!

It is time for us to get to know another of Misty's Facebook Fans a little better. Today I want to introduce you to Macy!!
Hey there everyone, I'm so excited to be featured on Misty's blog!!! A little about me...my name is Macy Goode and I'm a native Montanan (Go Cats!!!), I love living here..it's the most gorgeous place in the world. I've been married to my super awesome, very patient husband for nine years now and during that time we've produced two very energetic boys. We love to hang out with our families and play on the lake that we live on. I'm a certified dental assistant...yep..I'm a spit sucker by day...LOL, I work so I can support my scrapbook addiction!

How long have you been digi scrapping?
I've been digi scrapping for two years now, I had been a traditional scrapbooker for years and decided to be a consultant for Creative Memories where I was first introduced to the digi world. I havn't got off the computer since!!

What's the one scrapbooking item you can't live without?
The one scrapbooking item I couldn't live without??....my computer, hands down. I never want to cut or glue a piece of paper by hand for as long as I live!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could live ANYWHERE, it would have to be Kauai. We visited Kauai last Fall and I just fell in love with it. A facsinating place, full of beauty..and it was warm which is a bonus.

What's your favorite movie?
I don't think I could chose ONE movie to be my favorite!! I looooove Fever Pitch, Sweet Home Alabama, The Notebook..but my current favorite has to be Eclipse. Um yah, I'm a Twilight Saga junkie!! I just heard that Taylor Lautner is in MY town and I'm seriously considering camping out at his hotel after I put the kids to sleep. ha ha

What's your favorite book?
I love to read, I love it when a book completely captures my attention and I can't put it down until it's finished. My current favorite is Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer.

What is your favorite kit of Misty's?
My favorite kit of Misty's has to be Tweet! Tweet!, it's been a perfect package to use with photo's of my new nephew. I love the colors, the textures and the little birdies are adorable!!

Facebook Fan!

It's time to spotlight another of Misty's Facebook Fans. Today, I want to introduce you to Juli!! My name is Juli. I am from Seattle, WA. I have been married for 3 years to my best friend. We just bought our first house in November and have just started some construction that will make it soooooo great! :) Currently, I teach 6th grade science at my old middle school. Yes, that is weird sometimes, but next year will be my 4th year teaching, so I am kind of used to it! My husband and I do not have any kids yet, but are really hoping for a little one soon.


How long have you been digi scrapping?
I have been scrapping since October of 2008. WOW, can't believe it! I am better than I was, but I still have sooooo much to learn! Clustering and making LOs look complete are my weak points.

How did you discover Misty's designs?
One of the designers I CT for did a collab with Misty. It was called Just Married.

What is your favorite kit of Misty's?
I honestly do not own too many, so I will say Just Married. It is a superb kit!!

How would you describe your scrapping style?
I like white space LOs which drives my husband crazy! Templates are my best friend!!

What's the one scrapbooking item you can't live without?
Templates. I like to use them as a jumping off point. They help with ideas on where to put the elements to help keep the page balanced.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Hmm, actually right here in WA. I absolutely LOVE it here. Although, Redondo Beach, CA is absolutely gorgeous as well and it is close to Disneyland which is a huge plus!

What's your favorite movie?
While You Were Sleeping. My best friend and I can quote pretty much the whole movie. So good!

What's your favorite book?

That is hard! I love reading so I have sooo many favorites. The book I have read the most though is a kids book called "From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." I absolutely love that book and I can't really explain why!

Meet another Facebook Fan!

Hello all! I have another fantastic Facebook Fan to introduce to you today!

This is Christin!! Christin is a stay at home mom of 2 kids, her son is 7 and her daughter is 2. She is also an Airman's Wife. She and her husband are high school sweeties, and are very blessed to call Fairchild, AFB home.. for now. They are both from Western Washington, so they take advantage of being so close to home. Christin dabbles in scrap kit design, so feel free to pop on over to her blog and grab some freebies!
Let's get to know a little more about Christin!

1. How long have you been digi scrapping?
I have been digi scrapping for 2 1/2 years. My grandma is actually the one who introduced me to it, and I am so glad she did!

2. How did you discover Misty's designs?

I actually found her from browsing other digi scrappers on Face Book. I checked out her page and was hooked!
3. Did you paper scrap before you digi scrapped?

I bought a couple things and tried it, but it wasn't working for me. Too messy and expensive!

4. What is your favorite kit of Misty's?

I LOVE the Everyday Happenings - {Project 365} Collab kit. I can think of several pages off the top of my head I could do with this kit. I love the ruler element!

5. What's the one scrapbooking item you can't live without?

Journaling tags! I try to put some journaling on every layout so years down the road I don't have to try and remember dates and names :)

6. How would you describe your scrapping style?

I think have a traditional style. I love symmetrical lines and using lots of papers. I have been working on making clusters, that seems to be every digi scrappers archenemy!

7. Do you have any other hobbies besides scrapping?

I love to bike ride with my hubby and the kids on the weekends, go to the lake and take photos. I love to volunteer for my son's school, it was a great way to meet other mom's when we first moved to this base.

8. What is your favorite movie?

Ok, kinda cheesy.. but I love "You've Got Mail" Meg Ryan is my favorite!

9. What is your favorite book if you enjoy reading?

I am currently reading "Tumtum and Nutmeg" to my son at bedtime, and I think I am enjoying it just as much, if not more than he is!

I participated last year....365 pictures, 52 layouts! But this year I'm taking off.

What is one goal you have this year...scrap related or otherwise?

To get my printed layouts in albums. I don't scrap in order, so putting the layouts in chronological order isn't exactly feasible, but I think I have an idea on how I want to organize them.

What is your favorite kit of Misty's?

It's 5 o'Clock Somewhere....we live near the beach so all of her little elements and word arts are perfect!

What is your favorite layout using one of Misty's kits?

This is of my sister and her husband in Vegas!

What are your hobbies other than scrapping?

I love to read, crochet, sew, but I spend so much time scrapping, my other hobbies have kind of taken a back seat. :-)

What is your favorite book?

The Monster At the End of This Book. When I was a kiddo, I loved this book. When I had kids I made certain it was in our family collection!!
