Lola!

How did everyone's weekend go? We did something adventurous! We drove an hour and a half north of town to a drive in theater. I had never been to a drive in before and this is the last one near us. There used to be at least 3 of them in our town but they're all long gone. We packed up our two boys, loaded the car with blankets, snacks, and toys and headed out. The show started at 9:30pm and we watched The Bounty Hunter (Jennifer Anniston movie). They had us turn our FM station to a specified number to get the sound of the movie in the car. We didn't want to risk using our car battery for two hours so we brought a portable radio. The kids were great for us and we had a ton of fun. The pic above is of the screen before it got dark and before the lot filled up. We were there an hour early. There were two shows playing that night, the next one being the Bruce Willis movie, Cop Out, but we had an hour and half ride home so we left at 11:45pm after the first show. And get this! We decided to stop and get a geocache on the way home and while Dan was out looking in a field, two state patrol officers pulled up behind me wondering what was going on! Luckily one of the officers was a geocacher so there wasn't much explaining I had to do on my part. Lastly, on the way home, there was a deer in the middle of the road. Thank God for our eagle eyes! I drove 45 most of the way home instead of 60 since I was pretty much the only one on the road. I am terrified of hitting deer. We got home at 1:45am and the kids slept the whole way back. It was a pretty awesome experience and I can't wait to do it again. Next time we should just camp out!

Now for the scrapping news!
I have a new kit and glitter set available today :) As of June 1st, I went exclusive at Funky Playground Designs! This is now the only store where you can get my designs. You should also sign up for my awesome newsletter too, the subscribers are privy to exclusive sneak peeks, coupon codes, and freebies!

Back to the new release - Lola is my first girly kit. I have two boys so I never really had the motivation to create a pink kit, but I love color palettes featuring brown and pink together so here it went:

My CT and the FPD site CT have created some beautiful layouts:

If you create a layout, make sure to upload it to the FPD gallery! My CT choose 2 layouts a month to featuring on this blog and the layout artists receive $3.00 to my store. So go upload all of your layouts featuring my products!

Also new in the store is a really cool collab from the FPD designers.

Each of Good Morning Sunshine's 13 mini-kits has it's own refreshing, sunshine theme. You can use them individually or you can mix them up for a variety of sensational layouts to suit your needs because they were all designed using the same color palette (shown in the preview)!

What a fantastic way to get a sampling of what our designers have to offer! The contributing designers are: 4 Shades of Blue, Charlize Creations (June Guest), Daybreak Scraps, Fe Marni Designs, Girl Boy Girl Designs, Jennilyn Designs, Michelle Batton, Misty O'Brien Designs, Ruby Lane, Secret Garden, Shanmomto4 Designs, Siamese Studio, and Tracey Monette.

Good Morning Sunshine will only be available as a $3.00 Grab Bag from June 7 through June 20!
On June 21, we will be revealing the 12 mini-kits inside and increasing the price to $6.00 - which is still a tremendous bargain considering that averages out to just 50 cents a for each mini kit!

Have a great week! See you soon

Love and Happy Scrapping

Our property is pretty close. The kids usually go to a movie if they are up there since it's so cheap and it only takes us a couple mins to get back to camp at 2 am. Happy you had a good time.
