Polka Dot Plum has a new kit, Occasionally.
Sharon, CT member, came up with a brilliant description of the kit:
"OCCASIONALLY you need a kit with a collection of floral patterns and elements, perhaps a plaid or dotted design. There will OCCASIONALLY be a call for basic unadorned papers and accessories. Red may be just the color you fancy, but OCCASIONALLY muted tones with just a few frills might fit the bill. Your project may necessitate a diverse mixture of ribbon, stitches, flairs, flowers, frames, notepaper, and OCCASIONALLY a simple or fancy journaling block. Whether you OCCASIONALLY scrap or are addicted, you will find OCCASIONALLY to be a kit you will go back to more than just OCCASIONALLY."
Here's my first LO:
You can pick this kit up at Sunshine Studio Scraps or Scrap Orchard.
And don't forget, PDPlum's CT has a Blog Train with Freebie Quick Pages from the Sensory Overload kit. The train starts at the Plum blog!
Hello all!
I am Misty, an avid digi scrapper from the Pacific Northwest. My passion is creating LOs but lately I've been working on some goodies in the design department. I'm a month or so away from debuting anything else but keep an eye out! Click here for my first element freebie pack.
I am also part of an amazing Creative Team for Polka Dot Plum. The CT is running a blog train, featuring the magical designs of the Sensory Overload kit. Each CT member has created a quick page from the kit.

Here's the QP Freebie. Click the preview to download and PLEASE remember to read the TOU. If you like the QPs, pick up the kit at SUN or Scrap Orchard (Thank you!)
This blog train started earlier this week with Melanie of Pixie Keepsakes posting on the PDP blog. Thursday's stop will be at Petra's Blog.
I needed to finish up a Shutterfly book and decided to do my last LO with Polka Dot Plum's Sensory Overload kit. I love the colors too (I'm a fan of lime greens and yellows together).
The tag reads:

Did this at an SS the other night. Soooo not my thing to use a ton of papers, elements, etc. But I think it turned out nicely.

Polka Dot Plum has an adorable kit called Brrrrrrrr!
And I'm not just spreading the love because I'm on the CT, I really adore this kit. To pick up Polka Dot Plum's Brrrr Kit, go to SUN by clicking here
I have to admit, I had a hard time finding a photo to work with it. Ian, my son, has a red coat and yes, I could recolor the elements but red snowflakes and such would just not fly. I followed Harmonystar's Color Changing Technique Challenge (from the Gingerscraps CT) and recolored Ian's coat to blue. I then did a little cloning and erasing to get the perfect look.

This is a gorgeous kit by Polka Dot Plum called Holly Jolly Holiday. I love the glittery elements and plethora of papers!
